It's night time so let's go over the rest of the day. For snack was supposed to be a pineapple smoothie. I didn't want that so I opted for the strawberry one. However, I didn't like the milk and strawberries together yesterday so just drank the milk and ate the strawberries. (oh, and the sunflower seeds) it was good, strawberries were still frozen but that made them really good!!!
I went to the local YMCA and did about 20 mins of abs (crunches) and then an hour of Zumba!!! I <3 Zumba!!
When I came home it was dinner time. I was a little hungry but after I saw it was brown rice, sautéed mushrooms and turkey cutlet on the menu... I was good to go. Feel just right but it's only been 20 mins since I've eaten. Guess we'll see.
I'm off to have some family time and devoted watching of AGT!!

Day 2: pleasantly surprised
I went to bed hungry but woke up just right. It was weird but I won't complain. (maybe the extra string cheese helped as I had one extra one before bed) :)
I had breakfast at 10am again and had rice cereal, skim milk, pineapple tidbits, and sunflower seeds (still salted as I didn't make it to the store last night) I'm ok with the hunger. Im not starving and I'm not over full.
I didn't feel so hungry before lunch. So I guess that's good. Lunch today was tuna, string cheese, steamed carrots, and water. It was pretty good, a little dry but overall satisfying. I guess when u eat out of necessity instead of want to/for flavor, meal times aren't as exciting. I know I will be happy with my decisions after it's over tho...

End of Day One
So after I left you, I went to a Zumba class with a good friend! I love Zumba and it makes my day to get out of the house and DANCE with girlfriends. :)
So for my snack I had a smoothie! Sounds good but with just frozen berries and skim milk, it doesn't make a very tasty snack. Now it did give me a nice bridge to get to dinner.
Now for dinner, I had a really good peice of baked turkey breast cutlet with Mrs. Dash, roasted red potatoes with olive oil, and green beans. It's was pretty good. (I didn't cook my potatoes all the way) afterwards I do feel good about my body and self control.
I feel a little deprived but right now is the time I usually snack like the food is gonna disappear. And I know my stomach is streached too but I know it will get better.
Total calorie intake is about 1200, with Zumba burning about 800. Overall a good day!

Welcome to my blog!! I'm so excited you are reading along with me on my journey to a healthy and long life. I am going go through my progress including diet, exercise, good days, and complications along the way.
Today I started my diet, I have done this particular diet before but stopped after the Jump start and didn't go any further, so this time I am going at it strong and looking for you to be my accountability. Let's start...
Breakfast was rice cereal with skim milk, applesauce, sunflower seeds and water. I ate and felt ok. Didn't have my mind all on food when I was done. Tasted good and I was satisfied. I did buy the wrong sunflower seeds... They were salted :( the label didn't specify but after tasting them, I knew.
Lunch couldn't come soon enough though. I was hungry for about 1 and a half hours before I ate. I can't go more than 4 hrs so I ate at 3. Menu included 4oz of deli turkey, grape tomatoes, string cheese and water. It tasted great but I was still hungry. I had an extra string cheese and a small piece of cube steak from the night before.
I am done for now, but I will post before I go to bed about snack and dinner.
